Slate Mobile

My first mobile had thin, aluminum, hanging triangular plates. Outdoors, it looked good in calm air, but strong winds made the plates flail chaotically. This mobile was designed to address that problem. Narrow, heavy stones create great ballast and the mobile is suitable for windstorms. The spars are oak and the slate stones are hung by steel cable.
